The Plymouth Antiquarian Society, located in historic Plymouth, MA
seeks a full-time Executive Director who will oversee the care and maintenance
of its historic properties and collections, and further the Society's mission of
fostering public engagement with Plymouth history after the Pilgrim era. The
Antiquarian Society is the largest preservation organization in Plymouth,
maintaining three historic house museums and their grounds, and an ancient
Native American site, Sacrifice Rock. The Society has a significant collection
of American furnishings, decorative arts, historic clothing and textiles,
archives, books, and photographs. Established in 1919, this member-based
non-profit organization offers seasonal tours of its historic properties and an
active schedule of public programs and events throughout the year, targeted to
members, residents, and visitors to Plymouth.
