Christmas Tree Recycling
Balboni’s Landscape Supply and Green Waste Reprocessing will accept Plymouth residents’ Christmas trees for recycling, at no charge, Monday, Dec. 29, through Saturday, Jan. 31. The tree drop-off location is 135 Camelot Drive. Proof of Plymouth residency is required. Balboni’s hours of operation are from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday (closed Sunday).
Only clean trees are accepted for recycling; all ornaments, tinsel, lights and wire must be removed. Each resident participating in the Christmas tree recycling program will receive $20 worth of coupons, which can be redeemed at Balboni’s for products or future green waste disposal. In addition to providing Plymouth residents with a handy location to recycle their trees, it is environmentally friendly.
The Christmas trees will be ground up to produce high-quality mulch. The mulch will then break down to enrich and improve the fertility of the soil, which is the key to healthy plants and trees.
Contact Balboni’s at 508-746-6111, or check out their website at www.balbonilandscape.com for additional information.
