Boston Women's March for America

On Saturday, January 21, join a group from First Parish Plymouth at the Boston Women's March for America. This is going to be held in concert with marches in cities around the country. The stated vision of the march is "We stand for religious freedom, human rights, climate justice, racial justice, economic justice and reproductive justice. Together, we will send a message to our leaders and the world, that the United States of America stands for values of human decency, equal rights and freedom from discrimination."

The march starts with speakers at 11am and then will march through the Back Bay. Men are welcome to march in support of the idea that Women's Rights are Human Rights.

We will be carpooling to public transport. Please contact Diane Stillman at dianeinplymouth@verizon.net or 508-333-0091 if you are interested in joining us.

Remember The Phil in Your Year End Giving

Please support the Phil and our mission to connect community through music.

The Phil has been serving our community through live performances and outreach programs, demonstrating how music and the arts can have a lasting effect on those we serve. Programs like the orchestra's in-school Instrument Immersion program and the High School Choral Consortium Concert provide potentially life-altering experiences for hundreds of young people. Since ticket revenues cover a small portion of concert costs, let alone a full season, we need your help. Significant support from the greater community is the only way to continue offering excellent music and music outreach programs.

Giving is easy! Secure online giving is available in addition to mail, phone and in person donations. Check out the support opportunities below to see which one is right for you.

Annual Fund - Support the general operations and artistic excellence of the Phil with a gift of any size.

Sponsorships - Gain high visibility with an upscale audience of music lovers by sponsoring a Phil concert or special benefit event.

Advertise - Ads in our program books put your message in front of a discerning audience while helping to support a worthy cause.

"In Honor of" or Memorial Gifts - Make a donation in the name of another individual as a gift or special occasion, or to memorialize someone.

Americana Theatre Co. 'Parfumerie'

This new adaptation of the play that inspired the movies: The Shop Around the Corner, The Good Old Summertime, You've Got Mail and the Broadway Musical: She Loves Me is a warm, gentle comedy that follows the tangled tale of Parfumerie employee George Horvath. Just days before Christmas, George's boss fires him after mistakenly suspecting him to be the lover of his unfaithful wife. Meanwhile, George's own love life goes awry when he discovers that the stranger he has fallen in love with through a secret correspondence is none other than Amalia Balash, a co-worker with whom he constantly feuds. For the employees of the Parfumerie, only the truth can lead to a happy resolution in this old-fashioned romantic Christmas tale.
