Pilgrim Festival Chorus Auditions

Pilgrim Festival Chorus invites singers throughout the region to join in during open auditions at a Welcome Night.  At 6:30 p.m. on September 16, Music Director William Richter welcomes newcomers of all skill levels to learn about the PFC and audition for vocal placement, if they wish, at the Church of the Pilgrimage, located at 8 Town Square in Plymouth.  The first rehearsals of the winter concert featuring Benjamin Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols” will immediately follow at 7 p.m.

PFC is an auditioned singing group for male and female vocalists of all skill levels, dedicated to the performance of choral music from many genres.  With about 80 current members, the group is particularly seeking men’s voices this season, especially singers in the tenor vocal range.  In its 14th season, PFC typically offers two major choral performances each year, plus a summer post-season concert of lighter music, with smaller volunteer groups occasionally engaging in appearances at local community events.

Rehearsals throughout the season are held from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays, with some exceptions for holidays.  Winter concert performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, and at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, at the Church of the Pilgrimage.

For information regarding membership and auditions, contact Richter by calling 781-789-3343 or emailing director@pilgrimfestivalchorus.org.  For information including this season's schedule and repertoire, visit the PFC website at www.pilgrimfestivalchorus.org, or email info@pilgrimfestivalchorus.org.
