Substance Abuse and Mental Health in the Workplace

The Center for Corporate and Professional Education (CCPE) at Cape Cod Community College has created a business-minded program for organizations that want to take a lead in addressing this crisis.

This series will help-
1. Raise awareness among your managers and staff
2. Create a healthy work environment that helps to prevent issues
3. Be prepared to handle a problem if it does arise.

The unprecedented addiction crisis and the expanded discussion of mental health issues in the workplace are posing challenges and opportunities for employers. Studies show more money is lost in American industry from untreated addiction than from any other single source. Employees not working to their full capacity and consumers purchasing fewer goods and services, both directly impact your workplace and your bottom line.
