From Dwelling Place to Resting Place: The Spooner Family of Plymouth

Discover the tragedies and triumphs of one Plymouth family on this free walking tour of the downtown, presented in collaboration with the Friends of Burial Hill.
The tour will begin on Burial Hill; meet at the top of the brick steps leading up from First Parish Church in Town Square. After visiting the graves of members of the Spooner family, we will walk to the 1749 Spooner House Museum at 27 North Street for a special mini tour of rarely-displayed artifacts. Please note that due to the small size of the rooms in this historic home, tours will run on a first-come-first-served basis. Join us in the garden behind the Spooner House for refreshments after the tour.
