SODADE Jazz Duo

Stephen Page, Piano & Janice Dompke, Vocals
SODADE is a Portuguese word that refers to a "yearning" that vague, constant desire for something that does not and probably cannot exist. The love that remains after someone is gone.

Stephan Page has vast performing and teaching experience throughout the Northeast, receiving a B.A. in Jazz Studies from UMass, Amerherst, concentrating on contemporary improvisational Jazz piano.

Janice Dompke has performed throughout New England since 1999, studying voice at HB Studios and privately with Gayle Swymer in New York City. Holding a Theater degree from St. Norbert College, she has served with several established local theater companies as an actress, director and teacher.
