Advisory & Finance Committee Vacancy



The town moderator invites citizens to submit letters of interest for a vacancy that exists on the Advisory and Finance Committee. The term begins immediately and expires June 30. Letters should be submitted no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, to F. Steven Triffletti, town moderator, 124 Long Pond Road, Plymouth, MA 02360; or by email to: fst@plymouthlaw.com

The Advisory and Finance Committee meets at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month and more frequently when special or annual Town Meetings are planned. There are 15 members who serve without compensation and may not hold any other elective town position during their term on the committee. The Finance Committee considers any and all municipal questions for the purpose of making reports and recommendations to Town Meeting. The Finance Committee may also on occasion approve transfers from the Reserve Fund Account to various departments experiencing unforeseen or unusual expenditures, and end-of-year appropriations that cannot be addressed through normal appropriations.
