Pilgrim Hall Museum to Hold Kids' Week During February Vacation

Pilgrim Hall Museum Kids' Week
Monday - Thursday,
February 15 - 18, 2016
10 to Noon each day

It can be hard to keep the young ones entertained during February vacation, but Pilgrim Hall Museum comes to the rescue! From Monday to Thursday there will be some great morning activities centered around our Pilgrim ancestors to both educate and entertain. Best of all, it's free for anyone under 18!

MONDAY
Ledda Lindeman presents readings about the Pilgrims and Wampanoag of early Plymouth, followed by bookmark crafting. "New Plimmoth Gard" reenactors will perform 17th century militia drills on the Museum steps.

TUESDAY
Deanna Nealey, author of a local children's book, "Genghis Swan," tells the amusing story of Plymouth's own cantankerous waterfowl who once "ruled" the Eel River, followed by swan-themed arts and crafts.

WEDNESDAY
Listen to tales of courage and leadership based on Plymouth's early Governor William Bradford, presented by Kathy Babini, then create a handmade book about your own favorite heroes to take home!

THURSDAY
Investigate the immigrant experience with our popular Mayflower Trunk program, and immerse yourself in a range of creative craft activities.

Students and children under 18 admitted FREE!
Admission for adults is $10, $8 for seniors.
Free for residents of Plymouth or members of Pilgrim Hall
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Plymouth.
