Plymouth Antiquarian Society Summer Fair at Hedge House Museum August 26th

Attic treasures, vintage jewelry, homemade goodies, and bargains galore are some of the delights of this old-fashioned New England fair, held under a big tent on the sweeping lawn of the Hedge House, overlooking scenic Plymouth harbor. Admission is free. Browse for antiques and collectibles, find nearly new items for your home, and enjoy homemade treats at the bake table. Tickets are available for the annual Antiquarian raffle; prizes include a recreational kayak and an Apple iPad. The raffle drawing will take place at 2:30 pm; ticketholders do not need to be present to win.

The fair is held, rain or shine, on Saturday, August 26th from 10 am to 3 pm at the Hedge House Museum, 126 Water Street, Plymouth. Early birds are admitted at 9:30 am for $10. All proceeds benefit the Plymouth Antiquarian Society, the town's largest historic preservation organization. Tours of the historic Hedge House are available from 2 to 6 pm; admission is $6 per person or free for Plymouth residents.
