Plymouth Bay Cultural District's Art & Music on North

Plymouth Bay Cultural District
Presents First Annual
Art & Music on North

Cultural pairing to Plymouth Waterfront Festival
offers live performances and artist demonstrations

Plymouth Bay Cultural District, America’s hometown destination for arts and culture, presents its first annual Art & Music on North on Saturday, August 26, from 10 am to 4 pm throughout North Street in Plymouth. The event is free and open to the public in collaboration with the Downtown Plymouth Waterfront Festival.

A region rich in arts and culture, Plymouth Bay Cultural District serves as a destination to many performing and fine artists from across the South Shore. North Street becomes an open air artist block where visitors can enjoy live music from songwriters, guitarists and an acappella ensemble while perusing the gifted handiwork of artists of all mediums making original creations ‘plein air’ style along the historic cobblestone street. North Street is a natural conduit between the Waterfront Festival and Plymouth’s vibrant town center, where visitors can also explore local merchants and restaurants during their stay. An information desk will be located at the intersection of North and Water streets staffed with volunteers with information on the day’s schedule.

Various fine artists and acoustic musicians appear throughout event, a free transportation shuttle is available for the artists departing from the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce parking lot at 134 Court Street.

Plymouth Bay Cultural District, established in 2014, is home to historic Plymouth’s tightly woven community of dynamic arts, culture and entertainment. The organization provides support for year-round music, visual art, theater, historical sites, dining and businesses in the Plymouth waterfront and downtown region.
