The Plymouth Area League of Women Voters reminds local voters that Tuesday, Sept. 9, is the statewide Primary Election Day in Massachusetts.
On Election Day, voters enrolled as a Democrat or Republican will vote on their party’s primary ballot. Voters not enrolled in a party will be required to choose a party that day when they present at their polling location.
Contested races in the primary election include that of governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general and treasurer. Uncontested races in the primary include that of secretary of the commonwealth and state auditor.
