Water Street Road Temporary Closure

Bridge Construction starting on September 2, 2014

The Town of Plymouth’s Department of Public Works would like to announce Northern Construction Service will commence construction work to replace the Water Street Bridge on Water Street between Union Street and Leyden Street starting on September 2, 2014.

This work requires that the section of Water Street between Union Street and Leyden Street be temporarily closed to all traffic. The project is expected to begin September 2, 2014 and we anticipate the road will be reopened to traffic by the middle of November 2014. 

The Town and the Contractor will make every effort to minimize disturbances to residents, businesses, pedestrians and motorists in the downtown waterfront area throughout the duration of this project.
