The Plymouth Town Clerk’s office will remain open from 7:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, which is the last day to register for the state primary of Sept. 9. Voter registrations sent by mail must be postmarked by Aug. 20.
Voters wishing to change party designations have the same deadline. At the primary, persons registered as Republicans and persons registered as Democrats may vote only in their own primaries. Persons registered as Unenrolled will be offered a choice of ballots. Those registered in a political designation (not Democratic or Republican or Unenrolled) are ineligible.
Voters whose address has changed since their registration was completed must reregister. Direct all inquiries to the Town Clerk’s office at 508-747-1620, ext. 189.
